Message From Founders

Let's Make A Difference!

Hi Everyone,

We would like to introduce ourselves as the founders of The Giraffe Centre – We are Justine and Victoria.

We are so proud to be opening this unique centre which will offer bespoke individualised speech and language, and assessment programmes for children aged 3-12.

Our mission is to support and work with families along the way to they can help their children reach their full potential.

The Giraffe Centre

Our Story

Victoria and Justine first met back in 2016 when Victoria recognised her eldest son needed the support of a Speech and Language Therapist. Justine began working with him on a regular basis supporting his functional social communication skills. After working closely for many years, both Justine and Victoria realised that they shared the same vision of creating a therapy centre for children with a range of speech, language, communication and sensory differences. The rest is history….. Welcome to the Giraffe Centre. (Victoria’s son’s absolute favourite animal)

Our Mission

Helping your child get the help they deserve

Our priority to ensure that skills developed in The Giraffe Centre are generalised into the home and the child’s natural everyday life.

At The Giraffe Centre we are committed to providing high-quality, child centred therapy for the children and families who attend. We want to ensure that children make progress with their areas for development whilst celebrating and appreciating their strengths and existing skill set.

We also want to ensure that parents, guardians and the wider family can access expert training and support and their children access highly specialist interventions and evidence based therapies.

It is our priority to ensure that skills developed in The Giraffe Centre are generalised into the home and the child’s natural everyday life therefore our therapists run a simultaneous therapy and parent coaching model to ensure that parents feel confident to apply the learnt strategies at home and in natural contexts.

Our Aim

The aim of all of our therapy is to ensure that the children we work with become effective and confident communicators.

Parental Support

Providing parental support to ensure that parents feel equipped to continue and carry over the strategies used from the therapy centre into their homes.
